Wild Nights

Wild Nights—Wild Nights!
Were I with thee
Wild Nights should be
Our luxury!

Futile—the Winds
To a Heart in port
Done with the Compass
Done with the Chart!

Rowing in Eden
Ah, the Sea!
Might I but more—Tonight
In Thee!

Emily Dickinson { 1861 }

The Strange Lovers of Adolf Hitler

Why do people have such a strange obsession with Hitler? It goes beyond love or hate into a kind of dark interest in the Nazi Phenomenon. I am not referring to the persons who have actually acquired authentic knowledge on the subject of Hitler and the SS, for we know much can be discovered and/or gained. I am referring to people who obsess over Nazism while knowing very little facts, or only one side of history. The fact remains that Nazism is a (so called) dark obsession in Society. The kind of popular culture exploitation that so many people, cultures and religions have come to love - you're either for or against (good or evil) . . . but in the meantime you can still indulge your Nazi fantasies with books, movies, and comics - but heaven forbid you ever become enlightened, or develop a real interest in Hitler's Germany . . . for then you'd actually be learning something!
Enjoy!:

Reflecting

The Mirror by Sir Frank Dicksee

It is not my fault if I am like a mushroom which seems edible but which poisons you if you pick it up and taste it, taking it to be something else.
-CHOPIN, in a letter, 1839
